Having had a few after effects inductions now, I can confidently start work with my animation. I was surprised, after effects has streamlined since the last I used it, meaning I took quite easily to it. This might be due to my experience with photoshop, regardless, it was a bit of a nice surprise, and has me eager to get to work. I know how to achieve basic movement, import files, and render the video, time to enter the big bad world of video making.
