I found myself generating a lot of character designs for the book, making pigs that had elements of stalin in their design (slicked back hair, teeth that took the shape of his moustache). Coming back to the project post cop has me in a different frame of mind. Creating the characters was me slipping into my zone, without really considering what was best for the brief. I should have instead used the time to explore the idea with the design being the most important aspect.
