Positives
-exploration with process and image style
-More interesting work that isn't formulaic, consisting of more than just character design
-Continued interest and development in to the use of colour
-engagement with the new tool and app with ipad, coming to understand how to properly use it
-More of an interested and excited response from peers than with previous work
-A series that in itself could be used as a portfolio piece.
-exploration into the use of perspective guides to create a scene
Negatives
-All scenery was created using photographic refference, no skill as of yet to create scenes organically
-Still a plethora skills that are lacking, examples being the placement of characters within the scenes, looking somewhat out of place for my liking
-Being 16 pages and A4 means that printing the book in bulk to send away will be costly (by student standards)

Applications
-The work will be sent to japan, to people that I met and have maintained contact with from the trip
-The zine could be sent to publications with a written essay on my experiences in japan
-Also could be sent to agencies as a showcase of work and workflow, and a range stylistically to choose from
-Having finished the zine and being able to reflect on the work as a whole, alongside peer feedback, it is clear what I want to do from here onwards, another zine!
I noted a disappointment with the inability to create scenery and environments from my own imagination. Much like the purpose of the first zine, i'm going to use this as a means of addressing that issue. And I know exactly what theme to follow. My next zine will be scenes cr
